Welcome to the Wanganui Cup website

Some interesting and close matches last Sunday. Perhaps the beautiful weather helped the teams to work harder to each point, making it
enjoyable for everyone.

Results for the fourth round are available on the side menus, as well as current standings and next matches.

A team on division four had to withdraw from the competition unfortunately. Adjustments have been made to the draw to reflect the new
circumstances. After the next round all teams on division 4 will receive no points over matches played against the former Illawarra 28, so
every team will be in the same condition in terms of points. We apologize for the inconvenience.

The blue clay is on ! As different and slippery as it seems, the top players are fighting to be the first one to raise the trophy in a known
surface with such a different colour.  Inspired by the professionals, let's keep the level up in our matches and work hard for each and every
point. We are lucky to live in a place we can play virtually all year round, so let's take full advantage of that.

Happy mothers day to all the mums around, we hope you all enjoy some quality time with your families after the morning of tennis workout.

Make sure you warm up properly for the matches, and keep warm for the remainder of the period to avoid injuries.
Good luck, play hard and have fun !
